Ice canyon

What you're seeing

1. The camera skims low over a bright ice surface and crests its edge to reveal dark, still water scattered with floating ice.
2. A small propeller aircraft with white, red-trimmed wings passes close ahead of the camera and shrinks into the distance along the channel.
3. The camera follows the water between broad, flat-topped ice shelves whose sides are mirrored in the surface.
4. Near the end, a range of jagged, snow-dusted peaks appears through the haze beyond the ice.
